In other vehicles with electronic parking brakes, I've put them in "service mode" which retracted the cylinder, usually the service mode option was buried in the Infotainment menus. I don't see anything in Cue, nor in the Book.The parking brake maintenance notification is on and the parking brake light is flashing. The parking brake is electronic. If it does not release by trying to move the vehicle, it will need to be released with wrenches underneath. There is a YouTube video showing how. Just bought a 2021 XT6 and in the last few days, it started applying the parking brake automatically when I turn off the car (even on a level surface). It did not do this when I first got it. When I start it up again and put it into gear, it does not automatically release. Rather annoying.
